Facilities

The club has 8 rooms, all with twin beds. Blankets and pillows are provided, however each visitor is required to bring their own sheets and pillow cases for the duration of their stay. There is a small laundry in the basement should this be required.

All other facilities are shared. The large common room and kitchen have magnificent views over the mountains and are a great place to enjoy a quiet afternoon reading, a glass of wine or a quiet ale at the end of a good day’s skiing. A selection of games and books are provided and available to be shared during your stay.

Basic food items are provided by the Club. These include; tea, coffee, sugar (white and brown), porridge, vegemite and some sauces. All other food and drink must be self provided. There are food lockers in the kitchen (one for each bedroom) where you can store your weeks food supply. All cooking equipment, crockery, cutlery and glasses are provided.

House Committee

The House Committee does a great job of keeping the supply of food items, cleaning products and bathroom products full for the lodge. If you notice that anything is running low, or out of stock please let a member of the House Committee know.

Building Committee

The Building Committee provides the basic repairs and maintenance for the lodge. Each member is required to attend a working party which occur over a weekend at various times throughout the year. Please keep a look out for next dates for this work party. Members are credited with 1 nights free accommodation for participating in a work party.

Parking

The National Parks & Wildlife Service do not permit overnight parking in Perisher during the winter season. Parking is available at the free and secure car park at the Bullocks Flat Skitube Terminal situated on the Alpine Way (the road to Thredbo) or you can arrange for overnight parking at Sawpit Creek, midway between Perisher Valley and Jindabyne.

All vehicles entering the Kosciuszko National Park must carry suitable snow tyre chains. An entry fee of $15 per day applies to all vehicles entering the National Park.
